September Giving with SMRG

For the month of September, The Bathing Raven Candle Co. is partnering with the Shenandoah Mountain Rescue Group (SMRG), a volunteer team that conducts wilderness and suburban search and rescue missions across Virginia and in Maryland.
SMRG relies on member contributions and donations to maintain and upgrade essential equipment like specialized radios.
To support their efforts, Bathing Raven will donate 10% of all online sales in September and 10% of sales during Clarendon Day on September 27th.

Why did The Bathing Raven choose to partner with SMRG?
Living and working in Rappahannock County, VA, we are in the foothills by Shenandoah National Park. Partnering with SMRG felt like a great way to give back to the volunteer responders working in our local area and beyond, as well as helping them to provide emergency assistance (if needed) to the thousands of tourists who support our local businesses, artists, and economy each year.
