Gourmand-ilicious! Bakery notes of bright plum and orange peel over spiced hints of ginger, cardamom, and sugared chestnuts. Warm and inviting with a hint of nostalgia.
Part of our Whisper Wood Soy Candle Collection, Patisserie glows in a translucent amber jar that is recyclable and ideal for reuse. This collection is created with 100% American-grown soy wax and natural, sustainably-sourced wooden wicks for a bright, clean burn, excellent scent throw, and subtle, crackling ambience.
Fun Facts: "Patisserie" is the French word for pastry, or a bakery that specializes in sweet delights. My great-grandmother came to New York from Vienna, and loved to recreate European cookies and pastries in her Brooklyn home. My mother enjoyed them during her early childhood in the 1940's, and reminisces about them every holiday season. This scent was inspired by her lavish descriptions.

The Bathing Raven celebrates a true, DIY philosophy. From the initial inspiration for a collection, to the handwritten appreciation note to each customer, our team does it all. Not only is your candle handcrafted in our studio, each fragrance is an original scent blend, created in-house. All label design is also done in-house, unless otherwise noted. We do not buy finished products from perfumers or designers.
We believe this makes each candle a cohesive, artisan creation, instead of a curated combo of others' talents. We are proud to call each product our own.
